Training is arranged by email and paid through QuickBooks payment links or separate invoices. A website selection or email request does not reserve a place. These terms describe the full-court drop-in service and monthly membership invoicing and session-expiry rules.
1. Your booking
A full-court drop-in includes one 60-minute group basketball training session for one athlete. The price is $60 CAD total. No sales tax is currently charged.
The selected date, time and location will appear before payment. All session times use Toronto local time. Full-court sessions accommodate a maximum of 15 athletes.
A drop-in purchase does not create a membership or recurring charge.
2. Monthly membership payments and sessions
Memberships are paid one month at a time through a QuickBooks payment link or a separate invoice. There are no automatic charges. Your price and membership dates are confirmed before payment.
Tell RISE before your next membership month if you do not wish to continue. Your membership remains active through the end of the month already paid for.
Unused included sessions expire at the end of each paid membership month and do not roll over.
Email info@riseskillshub.com to discuss continuing or ending your membership. Session availability and any remaining purchase terms will be supplied before payment.
3. Payment and confirmation
RISE reviews training requests and confirms availability and placement before you use a QuickBooks payment link or pay a separate invoice. Payments are handled directly through QuickBooks; this website links to the QuickBooks checkout and does not collect card details. Payment links do not send your selected date or athlete details to RISE automatically. Your booking is confirmed when payment has been verified and RISE issues a booking confirmation.
A payment receipt alone does not confirm a particular session. If payment succeeds but you do not receive booking confirmation, contact RISE before paying again. If RISE cannot provide the purchased session, you may choose an available alternative or receive a full refund.
4. Cancellations and rescheduling
Email info@riseskillshub.com with your booking reference.
With at least 24 hours’ notice before the session, you may request a full refund or move your booking to an available session.
With less than 24 hours’ notice, or if the athlete does not attend, the session is ordinarily non-refundable. RISE will consider illness, injury and emergencies individually. Do not send medical records with your request.
Late arrival does not extend the scheduled session.
These rules do not limit any cancellation or refund rights provided by applicable law.
5. Changes made by RISE
If RISE cancels a session or materially changes its time or location, you may choose a suitable alternative or a full refund.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. RISE will normally initiate them within five business days, or sooner where required by law. Your payment provider may take additional time to display the refund.
6. Parents, guardians and participation
A parent or legal guardian must book for an athlete under 18 and provide accurate contact and athlete information.
Athletes must follow coaching instructions and behave respectfully. Coaches may pause participation where reasonably necessary for safety.
Any required participation documents must be supplied before payment and completed before activity. These booking terms are not an injury waiver or a release of liability.
7. Portal access and privacy
Use the RISE portal only for your own bookings and profiles, or those you are authorized to manage. Keep sign-in codes private and do not attempt to access another family’s information.
RISE uses booking and contact information to administer sessions and communicate about your purchase. Its privacy notice explains how information is handled. Marketing and photo or video permissions are separate choices.
8. Your rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Updates to these terms will not retrospectively reduce the rights attached to an existing booking.
The drop-in cancellation and refund provisions apply to individual full-court drop-ins. The membership section describes monthly payments and session expiry. Remaining membership terms, and terms for team packages and specialty labs, will be disclosed before purchase.
