An athlete holding a basketball speaks on an indoor court. A gold RU logo appears at the bottom-right.
00:00:00 How do you like working right now at RISE Unlimited and the whole thing that he's trying to do here?
00:00:05 That's one of the reasons why I came to Toronto because usually I work out in Ottawa.
00:00:09 But the level of basketball in Ottawa is not the same as Toronto.
00:00:12 It's all the best players in Canada who are playing in the NBA and all over Europe.
00:00:16 They all train here in Toronto.
00:00:17 So that was my goal this summer.
00:00:18 Coming to Toronto, training with the best and against the best.
00:00:21 And I was fortunate enough to meet Kevin earlier this summer.
00:00:25 And then he talked to me about coming and training with RISE Unlimited.
00:00:28 And then since the first day, man, I remember that 5 o'clock in the morning workout.
00:00:32 He put me through hell. I loved it.
00:00:34 And then after that one workout, I was like, I want to train with you the whole summer.
00:00:37 So that's what I've been doing, training with you guys.
00:00:39 And then it's unbelievable, man.
00:00:40 But overall, just the individual, he taught me so many things in seven weeks that I couldn't even imagine.
00:00:46 Because usually when you train with trainers, they tell you what to do.
00:00:49 But Kevin, he shows you, tells you, and then he teaches you, actually.
00:00:54 So I thought, you know, I'm a professional. I can't learn anything more.
00:00:58 But Kevin taught me so much this summer.
00:01:00 I got so many moves ready for the upcoming season, I can't wait.
00:01:04 I'm excited to use one of the Kevin step-backs within the next week.
00:01:07 So it's been incredible, man.
00:01:10 I'm very grateful for you guys for helping me develop all summer, getting better basketball-wise.
00:01:15 And just also helping some of the kids that are training.
